Im letzten Jahr hat ein Wetterphänomen die Gegend hier heim gesucht. Am Rande eines Gewitters haben sich Fallwinde gebildet und im Wald großflächig die Bäume um knicken lassen. Kurz vor Sonnenuntergang ist es passiert. Die Sonne steht schon so tief, das sie die Wolken zum Teil von unten an strahlt und dadurch orange färbt. Kurz nach den Bildern ist hier die Hölle losgebrochen. Und dann hatten wir erstmal ein paar Stunden Stromausfall.
Sonnenuntergänge und Wetterwechsel am Playa Jardin. Der Playa Jardin ist ein vom kanarischen Star Architekten César Manrique gestalteter Strand in Puerto de la Cruz auf Teneriffa. 
Er zieht sich vom Castillo San Felipe bis zu dem auf einer kleinen Halbinsel gelegenen Dort Punta Brava. Punta Brava ist bekannt für seine kleinen Gassen und Fisch Restaurants. Dort kommt noch echtes Spanien Flair auf. Sehr kleine Gassen zwischen Wohnhäusern und Brüstungen genau an den Felsen. Genau gegenüber liegt der Loro Park. Wie sehr oft in Norden der Kanaren, so gibt es auch hier schnelle und häufige Wetterwechsel. Innerhalb von Minuten Dreht das Wetter, und es gibt hohe Wellen oder einen bewölkten Himmel. Auf jedenfall ist es im Januar der Ort wo man in Puerto de la Cruz den Sonnenuntergang bewundert.
The Playa Jardin in the north of Tenerife. Created by César Manrique, its one of the must beautyful beaches at Tenerife. The north is the wild side of the island and on most of the days its not allowed to swim there. The beach is black sanded als as the name told us laid out as a garden.
Entlang eines kleinen Wanderweges zwischen dem Orotava Tal und der Caldera Las Canadas. Gleich am Anfang der TF-24 Richtung Santa Cruz gibt es auf der linken Seite einen kleinen Parkplatz. 
Dort beginnt der Wanderweg um einen Hügel vulkanischen Ursprungs. Er dürfte so ca 3-4km lang sein. Das ist gut in einer Stunde zu schaffen. Man ist kurz oberhalb der Baumgrenze, hat also einen freien blick auf den Pico de Teide. Außerdem sieht man die Natur in dem davor liegenden Orotava Tal sehr schön. Mit etwas Glück kann man sogar die Wolken beobachten. Wie sie vom Meer aus über Puerto de la Cruz kommend, hoch in die Caldera ziehen. Es handelt sich hierbei übrigens um einen Rundweg, man kommt also am Ende wieder auf dem Parkplatz raus. Dort gibt es auch ein paar Bänke für eine Essenspause 🙂
Den Namen des Parkplatzes, oder eine Bezeichnung für den Wanderweg konnte ich leider nicht mehr raus finden. Aber der Parkplatz gehört zu einer Sehenswürdigkeit. Dort hat man ein paar Überreste oder eine Kultstätte der Guanchen ausgegraben. Auf google maps sieht man das recht gut.
Starting at a parking place on the TF-24, only a kilometer after the El Portillio service area. The place is marked an old Guanche monoment. 
But its also the start for a short hikingtail arount a local hill. The trail is only about 3-4 kilometers long. But you have a realy nice view over the whole area there. Also a nice view for the Pico del Teide with the pineforrest in the foreground. And with a little luck there are also some moving clouds, comming from Puerto de la Cruz. I enjojed this trial very much. Because it gives me the possibility to take several pictures around the vally and the caldera.
At a high level of 1000 meters you have good view over the Orotava vale with his coniferous forest, the clouds coming from the atlantic ocean an the north east side of the vulcano Pico del Teide.
Auf 1000 Höhenmetern hat man eine gute Übersicht über das Gebiet von la Orotava welches sich von der Küste bei Puerto de la Cruz bis hin zum Pico del Teide erstreckt.
Pictures from a hiking trip to Tenerifes beautyfull Anaga mountains. The Anaga mountains, a part of north Tenerife. You have a good view for the snowy peak of Pico Del Teide shere und over the north part of the island. The Clouds from the atlantic ocean moves over this part of the island and get down by the trees. So the view can change from bright sunlite to very much fog in under two minutes.
Das Wetter wechselt ziemlich schnell im Anaga Gebierge. Innerhalb von 2 Minuten hat man den Wechel von tollem Sonnenlicht zu sehr dichtem Nebel. Also ideal für Fotografen die gerne bewegte Wolken oder umher ziehenden Nebel in ihren Bildern haben. Sowas geht da gut, und es ist eine imemr grüne Gegend 🙂
Chiamada – the old cave village on top of the Anaga Mountain. With a nice view over the north part of Tenerife island and the snowy peak of the Pico del Teide. Its a quick wheather changing areafrom sunny to fog in two minutes. Because the Atlantic clouds move there over the island. Some of the village pictures looks like landscapes for a model railroad.
The snow coverd Pico del Teide viewed from the Anaga mountains. On my last trip to Tenerife Island, I also take a hiking tour to the every green Anaga Mountains. Viewed from there, Pico del Teide, the third highest active vulcano of the world, looks for me much like the lonely mountain in the Hobbit movies.
Thats like spring looks in Germany. Its an area calles Wetterau, north from Frankfurt and in the middle of Hassia. A plane farming area with a lot of corn an wheat.
The great Arber Lake ( Großer Arbersee) is one of the three lakes at the bavarian forest, and its a legacy of the last ice age. Its an natural reserve and at one side of the sea starts a area calleds Fairytale Forrst. I visit this area this year on a cloudy summerday, walked around the lake and tried to do some landscape pictures.
